I had a test today and this was one of the questions. I was gonna solve it putting it in y=mx+b and then graphing points, but when i asked my professor, he said i needed to find the boundary first, WHAT?

youre both right. the boundary is the line you want to draw. then shade the up or down side.

2x + 3y > 6

The boundary is 2x + 3y = 6 as all points on one side of the boundary obey 2x + 3y > 6 and all points on the other side obey 2x + 3y < 6

If the boundary does not include the origin then it is the best point to test which side of the boundary is which

At O (0, 0) 2x + 3y = 0 < 6 so it lies on the side where 2x + y < 6

Therefore the region being sought is on the other side of the boundary and that is the half-plane to shade.

I believe you need to shade the area on the right side of the line.
