What advice would you give to someone who had trouble expressing themselves or being involved with others?

i have to write a paper that is somewhat related to this question..so if anyone knows good advice for this type of person...can you please post it here?

Any skill can be learned, I would advise them to join some organization like Toastmasters which will help them to learn to speak to a crowd and interact with others.
