Why does iTunes take so long to import CDs?

My iTunes used to import CDs to my music library a lot faster, and now it takes a couple minutes per song. Why?

That's weird it should go pretty fast...make sure you have updated it(iTunes) that might help a little

it's been like that since 7.0 was released. Bugware.

mines pretty slow too. its been like that. its annoying =]
