I've heard of soundcard but don't no enough about them.

The holes are usually color coded, the light green or lime colored is for your speakers.

Your computer's sound card handles all audio going in and out of your computer. Speakers or mics plug in to the sound card.

If your sound card is the digital version, you need digital speakers.

If sound card is functioning, you will see a volume icon next to your clock in the system tray on the bottom right of your screen.

lol...look in the back and if you see 3 or 4 hole where you can plug speakers and earphones ...yes you do have one...now if it is set up or has a driver its a diff. story lol
