instead of bitching at our royal family maybe you should put some effort into sorting your own leaders out yes we have a royal family and a bloody good job they do too, great for our country and image, remember the British empire that was led by the royals, not a bush who is a weed, if the royals are such parasites why does your government insist on our help whenever it finds another country ripe for regime change.
And yes i know ill get some flack for this but basically i don't care most people from your side of the pond are great just 1 or 2 like you that i hope stay there.

Don't know where you're from. Perhaps you're from a country where you got a President as opposed to a Royal Family. Who knows. All I know is that years ago I fell in line with the phylosophy which poured scorn on my Royal Family. Now, the older I get, I see that they're something to be proud of in a world where Political figures are paraded in representation of a countries' pride. I think in Britain more and more in the current climate of world events, the Royal Family are being seen by the British people as, not a family, but the last bastian of all things that we as a nation aspire to hold to.

I really agree with miskeny's answer. The royal family is so full of respect from people not only from the Great Britain, but LOTS and LOTS of other people from other countries (I'm a non-Brit but I know my people love the Queen), especially because the Royal Family has the GREAT HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN as the leader. She's really something, you know, coz she leads wayyyyyy better and she rules with wayyyyy more justice and peace-keeping sense than that stupid Bush who promotes stupid wars and can't even handle and control his own country!!!

I have never kissed a royal arssse in my life. In any event anything is preferable to the system in the US. I would much prefer the benign influence from the Royals who actually do a lot for this country promoting tourists from America being one of the benefits = thats the people who kiss *** not us.!!

The Royal Family actually bring in much more revenue to the UK in tourism, than they cost, so they actually cost the tax payer nothing. Gullible tourists from other countries are the ones that queue up to see Buckingham Palace. And while we are at it, Im Scottish which is part of Britain and I do not adore them. I wouldnt care if they didn't exist and the majority of people I know feel the same way.

who lives of hard working people .because its not the Royals,Their money land and every thing else is their own and no one can take it from them any more than they can take her title . Taxes go to the upkeep of the royal houses which if the queen gave them up would go to the national heritage and most likely cost even more they also get funded for trips to represent our country not their own holidays Any one English or not, who is low enough to disrespect an 80 year old grandmother who hasn`t hurt anyone and still spends most of her time putting her country in front of everything ,needs to take a long look in the mirror and see what kind of an excuse of a person is looking back at them .

Do not class BRITS as all having the same thoughts. Maybe in your god-forsaken home country everyone thinks the same thought at the same time, but here in UK we practice a little thing called Freedom of speech & thought.
Check your facts before generalising.

I have no idea what nationality you are but you have an incredibly ignorant view of the Brits. Very few are the sycophants you describe. Many take one look at the presidents of other countries and think thank god we haven't got one of those but there are also some who would prefer a republic.
Good luck with the anger management course.

Goodness! There's an open minded comment. Too bad the grammar wasn't a little better, but with that head of steam it's probably hard to pay attention to details. It sounds as though Queen Elizabeth turned him down for a date....
