This might sound like a stupid question, but I need more friends in my life. I only have 1 or 2 friends, and we're not very close. I have a fantastic boyfriend and family, but hardly any friends.
I'm a 25yr old female, and most of the people I work with are quite a bit older than me.

well, for starts stop thinking friends have to be your age. people are people like who you like forget the age thing (it limits you). then open up, join groups that you are interested in. be kind, be caring, be you, be interested in others. it will happen. now about these 1 or 2 friends, can you get closer to them, or are they not really friends, just people to hang around with. do you want to get closer to them? if so, try. and if you have fantastic boyfriend and family - well, you got friends.

join groups or teams in your community, volunteer in your community and im sure you`ll find someone with things in common with you and you`ll get along fine. You could also try becoming better friends with your neighbors, or your friends friends.

Go to your neighborhood bar and just start a conversation with someone. Either that or get involved in your religious faith.
