Just because I don't like majority of the colored people at my school does not make me racist ( someone called me one today ). Sometimes I just don't understand those people. And it's not like they're the nicest people ever! They like all try to steal from people at my school, I wish they didn't let them into private schools!

I used colored because sometimes I think the word "black," is a little off, but I did use it in the headline question. I don't know, but I'm not racist, it's not like I go around screaming "White power," or burning crosses in their yards. Whatever.

Sha, the least you could do with your free education is try to use correct grammar. I think your English teachers would be very disappointing if they saw your postings.

i agree with you...to a point, but, rather, I believe it is the black people who HATE the white people; I'm a very nice, welcoming, happy person who likes EVERYONE...unless they give me a reason not to. And most often, i find the majority of black people doNOT like white people; they don't smile back--they glare. Or they just look at a white person with hatred on their face. This happens every week, at the least. It also bothers me that I live in a white upper middle class neighborhood and...suddenly, a few black people have moverd around there...i always smile at them, especially because the most often put their heads down, like they don't want to be noticed, or anyone to, i dunno, burn a cross on their lawn...i say people are people, i don't care whWHAT color you are!

It sounds like you do have a little judgment/racial problem. There are unkind thiefs everyone, and of every race, and they probably should be punished if it is done at school. You should judge the crime, not the person committing it. You don't know how they were raised or what their circumstances are.
However, I will agree with you to an extent, that some minorities, Blacks included (not meaning all Black people), have a victim attitude. Because at some point in history someone in their family, or just a member of their race, was victimized they feel they are unable to break free and are constantly held down by the majority. Rather than work their arses off to make something of themselves they have an automatice out. Much of the media and culture reinforces these attitudes.
Everyone should be individually accountable for their own behavior, including you and me.

The use of "they" somehow means that "all" act the same way. Theft and bad behavior is not genetic, it's an acquired trait. It's not fair to put every balck in the same basket. It doesn't mean that all blacks are good citizens but it doesn't mean that whites are all good citizens either. Now about the racist epithet, it's used mainly to induce guilt as a weapon, it's not literal. Take feminists for example, many have distorted feminism in some kind of way to get back at males, which was never the feminists intent in the first place. Thus try to make a difference between genuine racism and guilt inducing insults. That's the best I think.

um sorry you are racist...you just stereotyped a whole race..."They're not the nicest people ever" "they like to steal" Are you talking about those singular few, who are all of the same race by the way, or everyone in that race when you say "those people"? Because I wouldn't believe you if you said you weren't generalizing about the whole race. Don't let them into private schools? Are you crazy? Should they just sit in shitty public schools so they have no example of anything better? I bet you believe that people are different biologically? No they are not. The only difference between you and a criminal or a black person is the environment you grew up in both natural and nuturing. That is what makes you different and it is not something biological. If you keep a criminal in the same setting then there will always be criminals but if you give them the chance to lead a better life then they will slowly and prigressively become great citizens of society.

Well if your thinking badly of them all the time then you are being racist especially if you make what your thinking known out loud!! I am not racist but I do judge people when I look at them but I don't let my judgement take over my actions. I do let everyone have a chance and talk to everyone and if I don't feel comfortable being around them then I just back off and keep to myself. Not every black person is bad. In every race we have good/bad!! Lots of whites are in jail, they steal from people at school as well. You can't always blame one race for unacceptable behavior because all races do this!!

I have no idea. I guess because it is easier to say that one is racist instead of saying that possibly they have a personal problem and that is why somone doesn't like them not that they are a racist. Possibly it could be true that the person is a racist. Racism goes both ways unfortunately, and it does occur. So, hopefully with time it will be diminished when it comes to race. It's not always the answer that it is racism, that is irrational at times to say that it is always racism. It is just like someone saying who is not black that they weren't picked for the job because they weren't Catholic or because their hair was a different style. People use these methods of defense all the time, not just in regards to racism.

Take it from this teacher, you have A GREAT DEAL TO LEARN YET! Anytime you group all individuals into one set category, you are at high-risk of racist tendencies. Your choice of the following words, "....THOSE people" is incredibly racist! You have to look at people as individuals; RACE and the COLOR OF ONE'S SKIN has nothing to do with their behavior. The environment/parental control has everything to do with one's personality. I guarantee that you are mostly hearing of consequences placed upon students of ethnicities other than that of the Caucasian descent. In my experience, I have seen many Caucasian children steal from their peers. Did you know that the majority of individuals on welfare in today's society are Caucasian? You really need to get better educated, and stop feeding into false stereotypes.

Well if whites are racist then a new term needs to be made up for what black people project....Uber-racist maybe. I think blacks are usually yelling racist when they are trying to cover up the fact that they are the most racist culture of all. I don't consider myself a racist, I don't like any kind of trashy people especially the white trash, they seem to be the #1 producers of drugs in our area. I know very few blacks that project niceness. One of my favorite college instructors is black and their are blacks and whites alike that don't like him because he doesn't tolerate B.S., but that doesn't mean he isn't a nice man. You just have to get to know him. Maybe you should make a few black friends to understand their culture better and you might not feel so confused. Just because they are different and there's a few bad apples in the bunch doesn't mean that their all theives.

I hear ya! I think it's because they have to have someone to blame for thier shortcomings. They will never admit that maybe it's thier own fault that they can't get ahead in life. They have that intitlement mentality. They want everything for nothing, and if they don't get it, it's because you and me are racists! Now don't get me wrong. I know plenty of very successful black people. The problem is not the black people. The problem is the ni**ers.
There is a big difference between the two!
