If you are too embarrassed to go to a place to get your private area waxed, there is probably no need to get it waxed then, because you are probably doing it because someone other then yourself will be seeing it, right? (just assuming here)- the people that do it are very professional and they know how to do it, rather then you doing it yourself and not doing it properly.
Suggesting to just suck it up and go get it done professionally for best results!

I wax myself, but the 1st time I did it I burnt myself really bad. My advice to you is to go and get it done. Don't be embarrassed, they see crotch all day.

maybe you are not mature enough to get it waxed because the safest and easiest way is to go to a professional.

I think your best bet is going to a professional to do it.
It's painful, so if you do it yourself you might not go through with it. And you definitely don't want to screw anything up down there.
