I do sometimes take time before replying on these forums, as it seems there are THOUGHT POLICE AND FASCIST THINKERS out there. For instance, look at the first reply to this question. How can you, BABYGURL say that the person asking this question is retarded and is asking a stupid question. I thought that this forum existed because people WILL ask mundane and out of the ordinary questions. But as my grandmother always taught me, one should learn to make sense from nonsense. I also believe that many who have answered this question are implying that there is a SEXUAL nature to the relationship. Again, my gran is 86 and I believe that my relationship with her is the most profound and enlightening that I could ever recieve. And by that , will you also accuse me of being weird or retarded? I hope not. Relationships take many guises and although it was not mentioned that this relationship is SEXUAL, then why is everyone jumping to conclusion that it is neccessarily of a SEXUAL nature. Can we not all have platonic and healthy relationship with anyone regardless of the age, colour, gender or age differences between both parties? And to imply that the questionaire is retarded, is beyond the pale. I believe what the person is implying, is that with people out there who are not wise in thier understanding of life, they may read into something, the wrong signals. I honestly think that even if there was a SEXUAL nature involved, and it was not implied in the question, both parties are over 18 and in this country if both parties are over 18, then they should be allowed to develop whatever relationship they desire, so long as they are not breaking the law.

And as far as I know, it is not against the law for a 19 year old person to have a satisfying relationship with a person aged 73.

Ummm what type of a relationship? A friendship is okay...you can be friends with people at any age... yet I'm usually one who says love doesn't see color, or even number...in terms of an age difference but that's really ridiculous. It's like dating your Grandma or Great Grandma.

Honestly, I think that that is REALLY weird. The age difference is completely insane; I thought I was hallucinating for a second.
