unfortunately, there are no unlockables for people who complete the game within a certain time limit or complete the game without being killed at all...

in resident evil 4, you can die for all you want or take your own sweet time to complete the game or save like you've never done before and it will still not affect what you are going to unlock...

if you are interested in what can be unlocked, let me explain to you briefly...

upon completing the game once, you will unlock the professional mode... in professional mode, all item placement will be the same but the difficulty lies in the enemies, as in, they are more resistance and takes more damage, meaning, they are harder to kill...

you will also unlock the unlimited rocket launcher which will be on sale by the merchant for 1 million pesetas...

after completing the first round, you will unlock 3 other mini-games... namely, assignment ada, where you get to play as ada wong in her black outfit trying to obtain 5 las plagas samples... the mecenaries, where you get to play albert wesker, leon, ada, hunk and krauser through mini-games by scoring as much points as possible within the time limit... you will also unlock ada's minigame called separate ways... this mini-game shows how exactly what ada is doing when leon is running around with ashley...

you will also unlock a new set of costume for leon and ashley...

upon the second complete, another set of costume will be unlocked...

upon completing separate ways, you will unlock the chicago typewriter, a machine gun with unlimited bullets... like the unlimted rocket launcher, it costs 1 million pesetas and is available from the merchant...

if you want to unlock the weapon called the handcannon, a magnum-like weapon, you will have to beat mercenaries, clearing every map with every characters and having a score of 5 stars for each character, which sums up to 25 stars in total... after that, the handcannon will be available at the merchant... after several costly upgrades, the paperweight weapon will turn into a strong killing machine with firepower 99.9 and unlimited ammo...

Complete it once, you get Pro mode.
In the second game round, you can purchase an unlimited ammo, firepower 10 machine gun for 1,000,000. Or an infinite-ammo rocket launcher for the same price.
Complete the 4 sub-games on 5-star with all characters and you get something, but I forget what.

Well after you pass the game they give you this other things call Mercenaries and another one where you do some missions with Ada Wong.

i think they are all unlockable. the thing is i don't have the skill so i played the game again and again, i don't remember how many times i play. but it's impossible for me to get the staff :(

but this is the best game i've ever owned. love it love it....forever

I am pretty sure there is a way to get an unlimited ammo tommy gun, called the chicago typewriter, for 1 million coins, but check www.cheatcc.com, it will tell you how. There is also an arcade style mode called mercenary, check cheat to c how to get it
