We did, but it didn't work until about 25 to 26 week range. May be different for some, couldn't say.

Im 35wks pregnant and started leaking at about 5 months. It was mostly clear fluid tinged with a little yellow. In some cases milk will already be there before baby is due, but if it isnt there it doesnt do any harm. Before milk is readily available "colostrum" comes out first. This is the first milk that comes out and has all the nutrients a newborn needs in the first days of life. Its great for bub's immunity and has all the nutrients he or she needs.

After the colostrum is gone then mass milk supplies are produced. It doesnt really matter if your milk doesnt come out before you give birth. When you go to the hospital for delivery they may ask you how you wish to feed. Whether its by formula or breastmilk. They may give u a breastpump to use while in hospital to help with the production or just tell you to put baby to your breast to start it up. If your too scared to ask your doctor about it, at your next antenatal appointment ask the ob/gyn or midwife what their guidelines are on breastfeeding and if they can supply a breast pump for you if you need one.

Good Luck and Congrats

I may not have points, but I do know this from my lactation nurse and my nursing classes that I am taking:

It is true that some women leak small amounts of a substance called colostrum, which is present before your real breast milk "comes in" after you give birth. Simply sucking will do nothing to produce more breast milk.

The only way to naturally produce breast milk is to give birth. When you give birth your body releases hormones. Oxytocin and prolactin. Prolactin stimulates breast milk production and oxytocin stimulates the let down response, which helps to squeeze out breast milk from the milk glands.

As long as you nurse, your body will produce milk. For example, if you were still nursing your other children, then got pregnant with your third, you could still continue to nurse the other children; your body would not stop producing milk because of pregnancy.

My husband noticed mine leaking at about 20 weeks (he wasn't sucking on them, but just playing with them), now I am 23 weeks and they are leaking a lot, so I guess it can for some people. Hope it helped

May and Maybe not cause if he keep on sucking on a every day basic then milk will produce even faster than it usally do.

Congrads! First of all on your third round, and God Bless You!!
I only did it once and that was almost 21 years ago, but from what I remember from my situation I was able to bring milk down by just adding pressure in the way they teach you how to squeeze the breast to bring the milk down, but hey! that was 20 yrs ago......
Man!! I am getting old ( =
I hope that helps.................................

lol, i wouldn't let my husband do that,..but whatever floats your boat,...hmm 19 weeks along, i highly doubt it, right now your body is still preparing for it, i think milk really starts to come the day you have your child..but then again, just ask your doctor, thats what he/she is there for, don't feel stupid, no question is ever a stupid one, when it concerns pregnancy!
