How do you make a sims movie out of the sims 2 computer game?

I see on youtube alot of people making mini movies out of there sims...how do they do it and make like a theme song and all that out of the game the sims..please someone give me the low down on it all!

It's most likely done with Video editing equipment.

It's been a few months since I played The Sims 2 on my PC, and I don't recall if there is an option to capture in game footage via a "recording" device or anything. If there is, then that is how you take the video footage, and then you would need to edit in the music you wish.
