is a gas forced air furnace,, I can help you, but i need more information,, BDP is the Bryant Daynight Payne corp. but the number does not cross with anything i have.. just tell me if it is gas,,,, does it have pvc for a flue,,, is it a heat pump,,air handler need more info
Gonna take a blind stab at this,, on the furnace there will be a low voltage terminal board,, on that board will be these terminals "R" "G" "W" "Y" "C"......
This is for testing only for now,., at the furnace,, do this to test,,, remove all wires from terminal board ,,, make sure you note where they come from..
R is 24 volts out to thermostat,
G is to bring on blower,,, run a wire from R to G and the fan will come on
W is for the heat part,, opens the gas valve,, run a wire from R to W and the heat should start.
Y is for A/C,, run a wire from R to Y and the outdoor a/c will come on..
C is the common side of the transformer..
Now to wire the thermostat..
on the thermostat you should have
R (maybe a Rc and a Rh),,, if so wire R from furnace to both ...
W Wire from furnace to W on stat
Y Wire from furnace to Y on stat
G Wire to G terminal on stat
C Wire to C on stat..

The first thing you need to know is that if you are using a mercury or snap action t-stat there is a heat anticipator that has to be set. If it is set too low you will burn the anticipator. If set too high your heat will over shoot the temp setting. Most furnaces have the following terminals at the termminal strip. R W G Y C. Your t-stat should have the same lettering. It may have some extra terminals that are not needed. Also have you got heat and cooling. Meaning is there a condenser outside of your house for summer cooling. If you only have a gas furnace or electric furnace. Also do you have a single tranformer 4 wire setup or a 5 wire 2 transformer setup. If you only have heating you will only be working with the R and W. By the start of the Model number it looks like you may be dealing with a gas furnace. At the furnace connet the red wire to the R terminal and the white wire to the W terminal. At the t-stat connect the red wire to the R terminal and the white wire to the W terminal. This is for a standard single transformer connection heat only without cooling. If you have cooling use the following connections. Red wire to R termiinal-White wire to W terminal- Green wire to the G terminal. You should have at least 2 wires going to the condenser unit outside. Connect the yellow wire to the Y terminal at the t-stat and to the Y terminal at your furnace. Take one of the two wires going to the condenser outside and connect one to the Y terminal at the furnace and the other wire to the C terminal at the furnace. You will have two wires connected to the Y terminal at the furnace. This is a dummy terminal. It's only purpose is to allow you to make a wire connection to the yellow wire from the t-stat to one of the wires to the condenser. This is for a standard single transformer 4 wire connection. Hope this bails you out. Good Luck

That stat comes with a wiring digram. If you have lost it you can get it online. If you cannot follow a wiring digram hire a tech.
