beatles are from liverpool and london is a tip .... no english live there any more , the place has more rats than humans and the property`s are falling down ... i know i worjk there everyday of my life and trust me ... not a place to be after dark ... its a hell hole

I live and work in London. It's fun and convenient to go out, but it's not all fun and jokes. Rush hour on the tube, high pollution levels, very expensive, there's a LOT of people so if you don't like the big crowds it's hard (i like them). There's some cool things to do, mad clubs, a lot of jobs, everything at proximity, different cultures with everything that goes with it (languages and food). I'm just happy about the music scene, it's very varied. And yes, the Beatles are from Liverpool, but they did stay in Abbey rd.

Contrary to the opinion of the British government and most American tourists, London is NOT the centre of the universe. There are much nicer, cleaner, friendlier places in the UK. And the Beatles were originally from Liverpool.

i was born in london and have lived here my whole life (31 years)
i admit it has some rough areas but it's not all bad,just like every other country in the world,every country has some good and bad about it.
i feel lucky to have been born in such a fantastic city but now i have a daughter i would like to move out of london.

London is SOOOOOO overrated. There are much better cities to go to, like Manchester and Liverpool and Edinburgh...

I live in london & this is what I live with, dirty streets, smoggy air, congestion charge, pigeon poo, gangs, stabbings/shootings/muggings (thats just from the kids!!) & last but not least the thames barrier, if we ever flood that will go up 2 save the palace but will drown us instead!!!!!!!
How lucky is that!!!

So? London is such a dump, it's full of foreigners, tramps and smog. You cant drive anywhere and you can't get away from people. I won=uld hate to live there. I wouldn't just go somewhere because a group was discovered there, thats just sad!
