Theres a ton of ways to get around a blocked website you can use proxy tools, hide ip programs (torpark is good) use Anonymizer's (g to google and type in hide ip )
I'd say the Torpark firefox program is one of the best, since you can download it onto a flashdrive and load it onto any computer (though it takes a minute or two to load)

If it's in school, you'll probably get in trouble, but you can use proxy sites that cover your IP address. There are a lot and you can search for them at a search engine. Most places no matter where you are log your internet browsing. If it's at home, then you need a administrator's password.

One trick is attempt logging into yahoo or different amenities from a foreign places language format... ie Yahoo Mexico facilitates you to log into Spanish Yahoo and could no longer be filtered by utilising your college´s it software.
