Depending on where you gained your qualifications, you may have trouble getting them recognized here in Australia. We recently had a lot of trouble with a Surgeon who killed some people through lack of skill and now we are very touchy.
Also if you do get through they will most likely require you to work way out in the bush somewhere because it is hard to get our own doctors to go and work there.
Apart from that Australia is a wonderful place, so if you are a nice person with no hang ups, then sure come on over and we'll throw another steak on the barbie for you. See you soon!

I am not Muslim, though I hold Muslims in very high regard and am currently learning about your religion over the internet (sadly it is online and not with real books). I speak as a Medical Doctor (and a general practitioner at that). Before we, doctors, could practice our vocation, we had to take an oath that we would not have any bias with regard to gender or race or beliefs and treat everyone. I hold true to my oath. It is up to our patients to decide whether or not to consult with a particular doctor. I personally do not see anyone in my clinic as a Muslim, Christian, Buddhist or whatever religion they might belong to. I treat them as people - with kindness and compassion and the love God has showered, and continues to shower upon me and the people I love.
