It means your defrag is requiring you to check your hard disk. Open the run box and type chkdsk and click run. Let it run its course and then defrag.

That means defrag can't work because there is an error on the disk.

Hit "start" and "run" and in the bos type "chksdk C: /f" this will run the "check disk" program inthe "auto-fix" mode (thats the /f) and it will repair the error if it can.

when it's done you can run defrag

That usuall ymeans that there are files on your PC that are not matching to the "table of contents"

If is basically is used to re-align your files with the table of contents that the hard drive has on it in two places.

Just goto a command prompt and then typing chkdsk c: /f

This is auto fix and issues..

FYI: sometimes this means that your hard drive is starting to fail .. BACKUP YOUR IMPORTANT INFO just in case!!
