I mean, who REALLY lets their boyfriend/husband throw mop water on them and lock them in a toolshed? Not to make light of physical abuse or domestic violence in ANY way, but do these people watch this show daily and go, "Oh yeah! I'm gonna go on there and tell the WHOLE world that I abuse my woman for kicks!!!"

i know for a fact that jerry springer isn't real. my dad's friend is a professional wrestler and they higher people from there all the time to come "fight" on the show. i highly doubt maury povich or anything else would be real either.

They get paid for doing those types of shows. I know a girl in my apt complex that was paid $200 for acting on a Hispanic show like this one. They said that they provide the skits and then its showtime.

I think the people and their stupidity is real, i mean why would they agree to do that thing on NATIONAL television? Something is wrong with them... but i think the show enhances it to make it more interesting to the people watching the show.

Some of them are staged. You can't believe that kind of programming. Nearly half the time, the people will be faking.

They are for real because sadly, I know someone who brought her husband on the show for a lie detector test. Also, just like there are people who proudly announce that they are in the KKK and proud of it, there are bastardly men who beat their wives and are proud of it.
