NO! Save yourself some sleep and just wait until morning. My peditritian remindsme that babies won't starve. They will eat when they are hungry. My guy wanted to eat every morning at 3am. My docotr said he shouldn't need to, jut stop feeding hi, It took 10 days of getting up with him and comforting him, but not feeding him, and he is adjusted and sleeping until 6 or 7. You might try some fruit or cereal in the am if he doesn't want a bottle. But if he is hungry, he'll let you know and he will eat somethign!

If he's not waking up for his feed then no, he should be OK to sleep through now if he wants to (good boy I say) as you'll be giving him solids now and thats fine for him. If he's waking in the night himself for food then you should up his food during the day, at his age he needs a good long sleep at night to help him get through all that playing and rolling around he's doing. Leave him to sleep and get some sleep yourself.

NIght time is for sleeping, daytime is for eating. Why would you even want your son to get into the habit of waking up during the night ? If he's sleeping, that means he's not hungry. I'm just flabbergasted as why you would wake an 8month old during the night ???

He could desire to be waking because of the fact of a growth spurt or teething, yet maximum in all probability he needs to flow somewhat longer between naps. attempt retaining him up one extra a million/2 hour between naps to work out if that works. It additionally sounds like whilst he wakes up at night he could be having some soreness or is hungry. this occurs occationally whilst teething and growth spurts. you could desire to purpose including an oz. to each and each of his sunlight hours feedings or possibly temproarily upload one extra feeding good till now you flow to mattress (around 10 or 11pm) to assist him get throughout the time of the night. you could ought to allow him cry it out for some days in case you're particular he's not in soreness, grimy etc.... he could desire to prefer somewhat prepare at getting himself back to sleep. it rather is complicated, yet recognize that a toddler's time table variations alot over the 1st 4-6 months and then it is going to stablize for 6 mo at a time.

Let him sleep please... it's important for him to sleep straight thru the night. Otherwise he might not gain good weight. And also you'll have no sleep once he gets used to waking up in the middle of night.. take it from a mom whose baby is not sleeping thru the night:-(

talk to your pediatrician. I didn't get up thru the night to feed my son if he was sleeping, but he drank his formula when he woke up in the morning
