Does anyone know how to take the molar mass in grams/mol and covert it to grams, and find the moles of an element, the atoms of an element and the percent compositon of an element.

ok you have to tell what kind of thing you have or matrial you have for eg:- u said 866grams/mol of what. mol of sodium or mole of NaCl or mol of CaCO3.

i continue with yours, 867grams/mol means
one mole of your matrial or thing has 867grams. this is called moler mass.
always remember one mole of anything contanis avagradro number of molecules or atoms.

ok you have to use mole map for these conversations.

going from moles to gram you multiply and vice versa for going from gram to mole you divide.(formula mass is obtained by adding up weight of every element in the formula.)

same with other two you multiply when you go from mole to vol. or part. and divide for going from vol. or part. to moles
