my school is having a formal x-mas dance and im going shopping on saturday for a dress. i need to know what kind of dress i should get. i dont want floor length. i am 5' 4 1/2" 113lbs i have long brown hair and pale skin with freckles. what color and what style? pix please?

I would go with a dress just below your knees in order not to make you look short. Color wise a rich burgundy or Jade Green would compliment your pale skin and freckles. Macy's has some great dresses by young fashionable designers and at a fair price. A halter dress gives you opportunity to wear a shimmer lotion and show off some sexy shoulders.

Try getting a dress in teal or greenish-blue.. A T-length dress would be perfect for a formal occasion where you don't want to wear a floor length gown. Be sure to accesorize the outfit with jewelry of the same color of your dress.

Go to jcpenny.com - look under Junior, than dresses, there's a silver halter dress and a black drop waist party dress, both seem like they would go great with your complexion, pair the black with nude nylons and black sling back heels, pair the silver with nude nylons and silver or crystal heels if you're not carrying a bag... if you are, match your shoes to your purse. By the way, both of these dresses are very reasonably priced.

A black dress knee length or so and wear your hair up but with ringlet curls hanging all over, you sound just like my neice and she looks too pale in pink and too old in red. Black is a nice color and usually you can't go wrong.

well u should probably go with a lightish darkish color to make your skin pop and get a dress about knee length mayb u should have like light green or a light red.

go to a second hand shop they keep them looking like new wear blue or green it would look sweet on u dont go quite so skimpy as some do u go normal then u will b able to relax and have a better time have fun these r ur days

do like a cute vintage cocktail dress. and leave your hair down, maybe parted on the side and wavy with a cool vintage brooch in your hair.
as much as i cant stand her, look at christina aguilera's new image for inspiration. some platform pumps and a cute clutch, and you're all set!

get a cocktail dress - short - maybe something a-line or swingy since you'll be dancing. I think emerald green would be both festive & look good with your coloring
