Show, don't tell. Your gifts are evident by their use, not by your saying so. Also, people close to you will judge you on so many other levels as to render this issue invalid. I read tarot cards, but not for my children or closest friends due to being unable to be objective. Therefore my kids don't think much of my skill. My clients, however, recognize my abilities and gifts and reward me accordingly.
P.S. "Special" is a trap of the ego. "Useful" might be a better goal for how you present you and your gifts to the world.

Were all psychic to some degree. Some of us just have a more powerful sense of it. And some who do have it are so affraid of its powers that they do everything they can to block it out. It is not wise to brag of your powers, the spirits can take them away from you in an instant. And your not sepcial at all. You've been given a gift, learn to harness it and use it properly.

Most people are closed minded, you could voluteer for a group study and try to prove it scientificaly. Telethapy between twins has been researched and continued investigation is going on.

I was talking to a National Guard and he says he wrings peoples heads with a electric shock tape to cover his evil deeds he makes them believe they are psychic number one to put you away when you start telling people because no one wants to be caught for there secret crimes.

Everyone is special. You only have to be happy for your own abilities. Don't worry what others think or if others believe you. Others shouldn't have to know to like you.

Perhaps your desire to be thought of as "special" is making people turn off from you. Therefore, they don't accept any of your gifts.
