Our electric bill in Belize has tripled. Corrupt company is about to shut my power off. I need to know about diesel generators. How big do I need for a small house that has TV, computer, large fridge, lights and pool pump?

Do you search by HP or watts or volts or what? I am a generator dummy. I saw a silent one online
for $4800. Small and silent sounds great; $4800 sounds horrible. Anyone have ideas?

I have information about generator installation and use on my web page. It should get you pointed in the right direction.

I don't recommend anything less than 5kW. Careful about selecting your generator. There is a flood of cheap units coming from China. They should be avoided if at all possible.

Contact info is available on my page if needed...

you should have around 8000 watts at least and you gonna have to pay good money to purchase one that will do the job you need. then you have to consider the amount of fuel it will use
