originates from an underwater diver, has a radius of 8 mm at some depth h. When the bubble reaches the surface it has a radius of 9.6 mm. Assume the temperature of the air and the bubble remain constant and that acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s^2.

1) Determine the this depth h of the diver in units of m, AND
2) Determine the absolute pressure at depth h in units of Pa.

The expansion ratio is 9.8/8 = 1.225, so that is also the pressure ratio compared to 1 atmosphere (101325 Pa)---> P = 101325*1.225 = 124123 Pa

Assuming atmospheric pressure at the surface of the water, the depth to cause the additional .225 atm = .225*10.33m/atm = 2.324 m

Summary:
1) 2.324 m
2) 124123 Pa
