I'm a smart kid, but a huge slacker. And whenever I get a report card with B's instead of A's, I tell myself that I know I could do much better if I simply put a small amount of effort in.

So then I'll make a pledge to myself that I'll start working harder, but the next day I'll stop caring again and forget about it and be lazy. How do persistantly I keep the former perspective of needing to work harder? I really need to know!!
