I consider him to be a racist not because of the "N" word, but the context in the way he used it. Because we shouldn't get mad when another race use it, when my culture use it our music, comedy and other things. Which is pointless, because if it bothers you so much, so should'nt want to use it at all. But to the point, when he goes into detail about 50 years ago we would have been hung by our necks and with a fork up our butts, is more of a cause to consider him a racist. But not on the word alone. And to comment on why the ghetto is the worst place to live is no logical answer, but send them to war and let them kill each other over there and let the people who want to live a desent life stay. But hey God Bless America right. I mean that for all races , because you have the ghetto too, but its the trailer park. What we should be fighting for is to get America back. Agree?

first of all, Kramer was yelling ****** about 5 times before he was called a cracker because he got offended by hecklers who said he wasn't funny.
2.There are racist people in the world, but when you are famous and get in front of a group of people, what you say is scrutinized even more. Michael Richards is finished in show business. Not even Seinfeld would defend him, only a racist would do so and you are showing your true colors!
3. The ghettos are the most dangerous place to live because the people are kept disenfranchised, uneducated, and poor. Until you improve the job situation and the education system people, and stop discriminating, there will always be disenfranchised people.
4. Whites do commit alot of violence, but white people also report most of the news and don't want you to hear about their aggression. Instead, everytime a non-white person does something bad, the media sensationalizes it.
5.You do have WET (White Entertainment Television) That's every other channel but BET! You just don't call it WET.
6.You do have White pride day, that's what the Klan is marching for right? Compare the Number of holidays celebrating White famous people versus famous Black figures!
7. Every month is white history month. When do we ever learn about black achievements except during February, the shortest month in the year!
8.You do have these organizations, they're just very discreet about their racism!
9.There are college funds for everything from hadicaps to American Indian. There is a larger percentage of more educated whites than blacks. Why do you need a white college fund?
10. Minorities, blacks, mexicans, arabs, asians have it alot harder than you do. Let's not hear anymore of your racist BS!

Kramer is a very good commedian but he was wrong to handle crude people the way he did-----eveyone knows the blacks have all the advantagages and you dare not rise up in opposition to them--------------white people are now a minority in 49 states-------------kramer apologized and several prominent african-amearican leaders came out to say it was not enough.........had the roles been reversed this would have been a non-issue------would never had made the news and would have drawn no criticism------------kramers death can be the only appeasment suitable.

Kramer was being heckled, and probably 'snapped'. But why should anyone be allowed to be harassed, bullied, and tormented for any reason? It's abuse...and it's wrong.
Why didn't the club's management throw the hecklers out??
Why haven't the hecklers come forward and apologized for their actions instead of hiding in the darkness of the theater??
Who's the real man here?
My money's on Kramer. -RKO-

Kramer is one of my Favorite Comedians.
However, his tirade was wrong and uncalled for. A really skilled Comedian can handle wise cracks, jeers and the like with a Good One liner. Kramer lost his cool....plain and simple.

I'm not racist; However, you have a great point! I know in Indianapolis, we have "Black Expo" every year. White people can't do that. Even the dictionaries now days recognize "Ebonics". But to use such obvious racial slurs for "entertainment" purposes I feel is wrong. If someone calls you a racist name, defend yourself certainly. But it is not right to use a public setting or captive audience to to express your opinion to unsuspecting viewers.

He is a professional comic and they have to learn to deal with rude people in the audience. He's no rookie either, he's 57 years old! His meager career was nearly over, he just put the nail in the coffin. As if he did not know the camera was rolling? No I don't think he should have been heckled, but it comes with the territory. People (both black and white) need to grow up! And another thing- no we don't have any of those things that the African American community does- why don't you just be grateful that you never needed them!

It's very true....a complete double standard....but there isn't much we can do about...either it can be acceptable for white people to do those things listed above, or black people eliminate the other things listed above, but until then, it is what it is....
