That's sad. Yes I would be. Maybe a ride in your easy chair would make you feel better.

It depends on how close I was to this person. If we were friends yeah I would be bummed but if it's just another person I don't think I would be!

Definitely bum me out - it's so hard to see a young life gone, whether by accident or naturally.

All of us are mortal and incidents like that make us remember how fragile life really is.

When we are you we think we are invinciple but as we age we realize the fallacy.

Yes it would bum me out but it would also make me want to experience more in the life I have remaining.

I'd be seriously bummed.

even if I didn't know them.

"No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less...any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind..." (John Donne)

sorry to get all poetic.
but that's how I feel.
every person's death saddens me.

Well is it was a friend of mine yeah, I will be sad. If it was someone that I barely knew, just another day. If it was an enemy of mine and someone that I could barely stand, well its party time :)

it would depend on how close i was to the person. when i was in college, a friend of mine was killed in a car accident. being "bummed out" didn't begin to explain it.
