A soy formula that contains DHA .
I had the same problem with my son and the only formula that worked with him was the walmart brand Parent's Choice Soy Formula. GIve it a try it will make a world of difference and the price is very affordable. What is happening to your son is that his belly is too sensitive to break down a regular formula and this is causing his constipation. Until the new formula kicks in take his legs and press them against his chest..this will also help to relieve some of the constipation.

iron is usually the problem. A friend of mine who's hubby is a doctor put their baby on that formula made by Carnation. It's suppose to be gentler on a baby's stomach. I also can tell you how to relieve your baby's constipation,,,,,,,,,,,,,, put 1/2 tsp. dark Karo syrup in 4 oz. warm water and give to baby. it works and won't hurt your baby and you can use it as often as you need to.

Make sure the formula doesn't have too much iron, which causes constipation. I used carnation (in the purple can) It really helped.

Anything without added iron although doctors dont reccomend it. I was told to put a tablespoon of dark Kayro (corn) syrup per each 4 oz in his bottle mixed with formula, it worked!
