I am a Big East loyalist, but I've got to say the SEC is the toughest conference. They have 3 top 10 teams, 2 others that are ranked and then schools like South Carolina are competitive against other conferences. Unfortunately, because of the abundance of good schools, this makes it very hard for any of them to have a shot at the title.

SEC and not the little 2. Here's why. Found on ESPN.com.

Big Two, Little Nine has rarely, if ever, been more accurate. Outside of Michigan and Ohio State, the rest of the league did virtually nothing against outside competition. The Little Nine combined for 25 nonconference wins that broke down thusly: six against I-AA competition; 15 against I-A competition with losing records; three against Mid-American Conference opponents with winning records; and exactly one win over a Big Six conference opponent with a winning record. (That was Michigan State over Pittsburgh, one week before the Spartans unraveled against Notre Dame and then tanked the rest of the season.)

I am a big 10 fan

but I have to give it to the SEC
They are beating each other up this year
just like the big 10 used to do

u have got to be kidding with the Big East and the Pac -10
they have no defense at all
LOL rutgers have the best defense out of those two

Big 12 is overrated, just alittle bit (its kinda like the big 10 but instead of OSU and MICH its Texas and Oklahoma)

SEC

here's why.......

BCS Poll

#4 Florida

#6 Arkansas

#10 LSU

#12 Auburn

#20 Tennessee

If Ohio State or Michigan played in the SEC, they'd have 1-3 losses!!

I'm an ACC fan and have no trouble saying that the SEC is the toughest. I don't see how anyone can say Big East is tougher than the SEC with a straight face.

In general, probably the SEC.

This year (much as I hate to say it being a Pac-10 fan)
you have to say the Big -10. They do have #1 and #2 and the likely Heisman winner after all.
How's that for an honest answer, stateof2?

good luck getting honest answers.

BIG 10, we have the 2 best teams, and Wisconsin is a talented 1 loss team who lost to michigan.
