It says 'privacy alert' and has a warning that 'these porn pictures have been found in your internet browser cache' - and SHOWS them! I really would like to make sure these don't come up when my 9 yr old is innocently going to her approved sites! I'm fairly new to the internet world at home, and wonder is this a worm or spyware? Can anyone tell me how to eliminate it? My virus protection has not detected it, and the address that is linked to it in the bar at the top doesn't pull up anything when I try to open it back up after closing it. . .
What to do?

I suggest that you try to carryout system restore to a day previous to the day when there was no such problems. The problem is likely to be solved. Then,You insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

You can have your pc scanned for free at housecall.trendmicro.com.

You can check trendmicro out, they are a reputable company.

If they really are in your cache, just go to tools>>clear private data for firefox, or tools>>internet options and choose delete under browsing history (for the most recent version of IE).

Probably it's just a pop-up ad that's trying to scare you. Usually there are ads that are made to look like warnings to trick you into pressing a button on the ad.
