I found out that my husband has been chatting on line with another woman, in another state for 3-4 months. Their "chatting" consists of explicit sex talk. I feel like this is cheating, he doesn't. Who is right?

C H E A T I N G! Look it up in the dictionary
"To deceive by trickery; swindle: defraud: To mislead; fool: To be sexually unfaithful: To violate rules deliberately: To act dishonestly..."

Hmmm, looks like it falls under "cheating" to me. Oh, and by the way watching porn movies, masturbating, and having sexual fantasies not of or with your spouse also fall under the cheating rule. Particularly if those type of acts are seen has harmful to the person you're in a relationship with. So NO, don't just "let him be" and continue with this behavior.....it's wrong and harmful to your relationship.

If I knew where you were, I'd give you a hug and offer my shoulder for you to cry on! ~_~

If your husband goes on line and talks dirty to another woman for 3-4 MINUTES, that's cheating!!

Its a thin grey line...did he "technically" cheat? No. But, its inappropriate behavior for a married man. If he's talking explicitly with another woman, that may implicate that intimacy on other levels may exist. If he developes feelings for this woman, its far worse. You can have sex without love. We've all done it. But cheating with the heart is far worse. I'd be wary of this man and if it upsets you, and he's not willing to stop, then I would either leave or throw him and the computer out.

Slick WIlly said he "never had sex with that woman, Miss Lewinsky".. it depends on your definition of what IS is?

Online chatting dirty talk is like having a girlfriend on line. while the intent to cheat is not presence, the action of taking dirty with someone of the opposite sex is in fact a cheating action (or interaction). Masturbating to porn is one thing. That is the actions of one individual. To talk dirty to some sleaze on the net requires the actions of two people.

Is slipping a cigar up a single woman's slit cheating? If you are married man I'd say it is pretty close to doing the deed.

If it is upsetting you, he should stop. No question at all! If your husband is going to defend his being online and talking dirty to someone then you need to lay down the law. Go online and tell that chic to back off and demand that if you're husband would like to continue your marriage you will expect counceling. If he's not willing to do that.. good bye. He may be trying to push you to leave him because he's too much of a weakling to do it himself. OR, he reallyt doesn't see it as cheating and has no regard for your feeling and that is where the counceling comes in.

Good luck to you. Sorry this is happening during the holidays.

Yes mam' What that girl said I completly believe is he wont do it with you sitting right there its cheatin'! Having any sort of relationship with the oppisite sex I consider cheating unless its truly a friendship and in that case you should know about it and be involved in the friendship! Also he wouldnt be talkin like that to a friend! SO lose him if he does that online for 4 months imagine what he does when he is out!

Yeah I think it's cheating. I'm kind of going through the same thing but I caught it in time before he started the "chatting" process. He just signed up at a dirty website to "meet friends."

OK first off one time is pushin it, but to continue doing it for 3-4 months is yes i would say cheating. Your husband is engaging in a sexual act with another women whether it be physical or not.

hell yeah that's cheating! most men always have different definitions from women about what "cheating" is. they're so full of s*** when it comes to that. he's flirting with another woman probably talking about sexual acts and what he wants to do to her and vice versa and she ain't even his wife. HELLO!!!!!!!!!!! if that's not one form of cheating, then i don't know what is! hey why not do some "chatting" (as your husband would put it) of your own. i'm sure he'll just love that! oh no, don't do that because he'll tell you that that will be definitely cheating - GO FIGURE!

CHEAT! Emotional cheating! Tell him that you are going to rip out the internet and take the cord and strangle him with it. If that doesn't stop it then divorce the bum. Plenty of good fish in the ocean that will love and respect you.

10 points please!
