i agree with you on u2 and oasis. they are overrated.

The Rolling Stones, The Who, and several other bands drew on the Beatles and the Beatles drew on the others.
People have different tastes in music. Are you possibly irked with the Pink Floyd "fans" that scream random lyrics in your ear, or maybe mad at that person that rains John, Paul, George, and Ringo on you all day long?
There were groups that went down in history, and they drew their inspiration from somewhere or another. Behind Johnny Cash there might be a little Elvis. Behind Pink Floyd lies blues artists.
I think that super super groups are any that stand more than 10 years. (Unless, of course, one or more members died of something. In that case, any band that Joe Forty-year-old would recognize.)
All of the bands you listed are super groups, as I recognize each of them instantly. If you feel like complaining, complain about rap or something.

I'd appreciate it, though, if you wouldn't lump the Beatles in with rubbish like U2, Pink Floyd, Oasis and Nirvana.
