My former employer, the World Travel Awards Ltd, was ordered by the Employment Tribunal (London Central, 23 June
2006) to pay me a compensation for sex
discrimination on the grounds of maternity leave,
injury to feelings, constructive unfair dismissal and
unlawful deduction from wages (Statutory
Maternity Pay)

World Travel Awards Ltd keeps ignoring this
judgment of the Employment Tribunals and have never got in touch with me. So why the law is that weak? It is a double discrimination to me.

Seek advice from the person (solicitor?) who assisted you in the compensation claim.

Although you may be able to obtain judgment against them for non-payment of the compensation actually getting the money out of them might be a different story.

I don't think that the previous comment about the Chief Executive going to prison is correct - this is not a criminal but a civil case.

They have had ample time since the judgment to get in touch with you and there can be no doubt as to how to make contact. It looks as though you will have to warn them of your intention to take out a summons against their Chief Executive for his committal to prison for contempt of court. If there is still no response, then you will have to take out a summons at the appropriate County Court to do just that. I have no idea which one it would be, now that Bloomsbury and Central have been closed down! It would be surprising indeed if matters were allowed to get that far, but the press would have a field day if they did.
