No, you can't sue the store, it was your responsibility to use caution feeding them. There isn't a person over the age of 10 in this country that doesn't know what a Piranha is or what they do.

No, you can't sue because no smart lawyer will take your case expecting to win. My 6 year old son knows that piranha bite. He doesn't need a pet shop employee or a lawyer to tell him that. Besides, I thought piranhas are banned in this country and owning them is illegal since people might discard them in any body of water (by way of stupidity) and cause a big problem when they multiply. If this is true, you better kill that piranha before anybody reports you.

um... biting is what Piranhas do. Since it occurred in your own home, not the pet store, then no, you can't. If you tried they would argue that any reasonable pet owner has the responsibility to research the animal they wish to own. That's like buying a porcupine and not realizing you could get stuck with quills.

Its pretty self explantory to use caution with fish with the daggers they have for teeth and there known temperment. Judging by your negative rating currently I am not even sure if this is a serious question

No you cannot sue. They are protected against stuff like that

ITS A PIRANHA for christs sake.

If the pet store did not warn you then you probably can, but you really should have known that they can and will bite the hand that feeds them.

Please tell me you are not serious.
No. It was your own stupidy that told you to stick your hand in the tank even if you were feeding them. You can try if they didn't give you instructions, but if it makes it to court it will most likely be dismissed becuase it is commen sense the piranhas will bite.

Any reputable Fish Store is going to give you instructions. If you buy Pyrannah then you have to be intelligent enough to keep your hands out of the water... Duhhhh !!!!
