It would be burned because the difference between our body temperatures and theirs is so big. I saw it on a tv show, these fish got burned by someone picking them up and they had marks on their skin. If you still want to lick a fish get a dead one from a fish shop.

Bit of a weired question and so a weird answer; You would of just lick a fish and nothing would happen.

You'd probably feel quite ill; I worked in a koi carp shop once, and scraped mucus off a fish and looked at it under a microscope - there were loads of little bugs and other things crawling around in it which made the fish ill so you probably would would fall ill too....good luck! lol

Dont try it with a Puffer fish. Skin is highly toxic. Red fish are strawberry flavoured, Yellow are lemon and so on. (dont lick a brown one) they taste like sh1t

a bad taste in your mouth. if the fish came straight from a pond then yo would be licking water which was i the pond. eww

why do you want to lick a fish
well if you did you'd get fishy breath and scales on your tongue yuck!!
