i love heavy metal and i think its gotta be the best kind of music out there. Why does it seem like to me alot of people dont like it? it takes so much talent to play a good guitar or drums ina metal band. some bands i love are

I'm a girl and like metal. Scratch that... I'm a woman-35 years of age. I love all genres and try to keep an open perspective of what is being offered.

I think its too loud for them
Most girls I know absolutely hate metal, but I actually dont mind it.
People say its just screaming and shouting and stuff but then you can say the same about rap really, just random stuff thrown in.
I think SlipKnot's quite good

uhh, i like metal but id rather listen to hair metal or just plain old rock, i mostly like anything just not really rap or country.. i like ozzy and black sabbath etc, id rather listen to the older stuff..marilyn manson

It's boring, unimaginitive, egocentric, pretentious, and cliche. If you have to wear masks and/or makeup to sell your CDs (Slipknot, Manson, etc.), then what does that say about your music?
