i plugged my ipod shuffle in the the computer overnight, and next morning, i tried to play the songs, but it wouldn't play, and i pushed the battery button to see the battery status, and no light showed up. when i puched play on my ipod shuffle, a VERY VERY faint orange light showed up on it. is there something wrong with the way i'm charging my ipod? (this is my first time chargin it)

It might be the connection, did you plug it all the way in or update the software. Try recharging it on another computer or something that has a USB port.

Because Ipod Shuffle sucks.
Get a real Ipod.

Make sure the switch is on on the iPod and that the computer can read the iPod. If it can read it it won't charge it.

also make sure the computer is on.

Maybe the battery is no good, you should contact Apple.
