I getting tired of it..everyone knows she can reach high notes, so she could give that a rest, and do something different in her career.

i think she should experiment on singing standards, that would go well with her age, since she's getting older.Norah Jones style.

I never liked her for that exact reason, there is nothing clever about it.
Then you get all these brats on x-factor who try do that and think because they can warble like mariah they must get a record contract

It's what she is known for. That is why she does it. Sometimes, I have to agree it does get a lil tiresome. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But if you listen, the higher notes she sings are getting weaker as she gets older. Plus 90% of her songs don't have the high notes. Most of her songs are handed over to alot of the rapper/R&B artists who do most of the these days.

if she did something simple she would be like everyone else
she has an amazing range and not many singers can say that
thats what makes her interesting - she is so amazingly talented.
you can bet if the other singers in the charts were capable of singing like she does they would - and they'd try to milk it for all it was worth
her songs don't even reflect her true capablities as it is i say she should keep pushing the boundaries of singing talent

I don't anything about her but I might hate her less if she followed your suggestion. Oversinging is worse than being out of key as far as my ears are concerned.
