Get rid of moisture, card boards, exposed food and beverages and the silverfish will go away. Search for similar resolved questions above and you will have a few more best answers. Good luck.

Well, in Brazil, we use jar tops filled with boric acid. Good old mothballs also help. Search for their "casulas" (don't know the word in English). They're little brown things that stick to walls. Remove with alcohol (surgical spirit?). By the way, the boric acid also keeps cockroaches away. Try living here, if you think you have problems! (I think boric acid in English may be called borax).

Roll up newspaper, secure with rubber band. Put them near the places you find them, especially near doors! throw the newspapers out in the morning ( don't open them, the little buggers will fall out!) silverfish love to hide and they will go inside the newspaper by morning. Do this for three or four nights or until you no longer find those little suckers in your house. This worked for me!
