I so agree with you Mark. There are so many things every day that we have to be thankful for. Our families, and friends around us. The little miracles that some take for granted. I never have a day pass that I cannot be thankful for the blue sky and the green grass, the seasons and all their beauty. I am thankful that there is a world of wonder out there. There is no two animals or plants that are alike.I think we have miracles happening all the time. If we just look close enough we can find something unique and wonderful for the day. The world can be a stressful place at times but are we looking in the right direction?

There is a Christmas song. I think it's called. Why wait till Christmas.
It's talking about basically the same thing. Why wait for a Holiday to be nice to everyone, charity. smiles, laughter, love. We should be this way every day.

thankgiving is just when you and those close to you set aside a day to be thankful together. You should always be thankful in your life. Are you going to let the gov. tell you when you should do everything? Be an individual, don't let your gov. tell when and what you need to be doing.

i agree with you, but also not everyone waits for thanksgiving to be thankful for things its just that it is a national holiday and is just what happened in history for the native americans and pilgrims so we give thanks for alot of things usually big things on thanksgiving but we should also give thanks for other things small things throughout the entire year as well and not just wait to do so once a year!!!
