Definitely Kelly's side. I think I would have slapped the sh*t out of him for putting his hand over my mouth. Thats nasty. You just don't touch people like that. Plus, its her show. Why is he trying to shut her up????

Peronally, I thought what Clay did was all in good fun. He meant it as a joke. There may have been a better way to get her to stop talking, but he wasn't trying to be rude. I thought it was no big, deal. After Monday when she blew it out of proportion, I am definitely on Clay's side. She could have easily settled it on the show, during a break, after the show, over the weekend. Whenever. But no, she acts if she got over it and moved on during the show, Clay thinks she's over it and said nice stuff about her after the show when he was interviewed, and then she goes on Monday and bashes him on live TV. That was just not professional. So Clay.

I don't think Clay did anything so terrible. He was supposed to be co-hosting, which means he was expecting to be permitted to ask questions of the guests. Kelly wasn't going to let him, and in frustration, he playfully covered her mouth with his hand so he could do what he went there for: ask a question. He was new at this talk show business, and eager to do a good job.
Much ado about nothing. She was very rude to him, I thought. And very ungenerous.

I would not let some strange man put his hands on my mouth. That's just gross. I don't know about all the rest of the issue, but I think its just not cool to do that to someone you don't really know. Its not like they're friends or anything, he was just on the show.
