there is stable and undesirable in all makes, some people consistently have undesirable stories, others have stable, only such as you would be unlucky with something you purchase. I used to hate Acer, yet ought to admit they have more suitable dramatically with the aid of the years, and Packard Bell is a respected call. besides the undeniable fact that, the place laptops are worried, for some reason I definitely have consistently been happy to maintain to Dell, concept I did purchase an creation from laptop international while i wanted an further in a hurry and did not have plenty funds, and could say i exchange into quite inspired. in certainty, although basically 1gb RAM and 80gb not ordinary rigidity (do not prefer greater as I keep on different desktops and specifically on usb sticks) I run complete place of work 2003, and 2007 besides as limitless different imaging courses.

hi, the acer AS3692 is a good laptop for what you need to achieve from your system, but from previous replies acer's don't have the best reputation neither do they react quickly regardless to which processor is inserted, the Packard bell MV35-202D, my sister has just ordered I recommended this one to her as they have a reasonable reputation and are very helpful. I have just bought a Dell Inspiron 6400 for £595 but obviously you don't want to that, but I suggest that you consider purchasing a Dell Inspiron 1300 or Dell Inspiron 1501, these are more expensive if you were to get these to the same spec as the acer & pacard bell, but is well worth investing in if you want quality, helpful service and you want yor product to last. Hope this helps. If you want anymore info e-mail me at joe12morrison@yahoo.co.uk or joemorrison111@hotmail.co.uk, NB: I'm not 12(anymore)

This is an important review. Acer has better compatible
chip force. Storage, performance and memory will be stronger
on the Acer, with the exceptions as follows, you live in a Bell
provider ISP area, a test site like Norway, or a satellite deck
area with many Bell users. In this situation get with the ISP
Bell has fine equipment.

Try to get a Dell Dimension. They have a price range for your budget and the support is very good. You'll need it. Good luck.
