You could use one of the 'your own buttons' facilities and have it on your tool bar. Tool bar settings (pencil next to Y!) - Personal Options - Add/Edit buttons - Other
or why not set it as home page? Tools- Internet Options - this will show as a button also.
Either way, it's easy to access as it's right there in front of you with one click.

Actually, it is available . On the right side of the new tool bar, to the right of "yahoo Search", click the down arrow, select "find more providers". One of the options is "google search".

Google and Yahoo are competitors. You won't find any links to Yahoo on Google, either.
