Too much fraud. Be glad your electronics items haven't been bought by Nigerians.

It's getting impossible to do business on eBay nowadays.

what are you selling?

Sometimes a short term (2-3 days) is better than a full 7 day auction.

Set your ending times at the time most people will be looking at their pcs.

Look at other similar items being auctioned off. Are they getting any bids. If not, chances are that you wont either.

Also, check the pricing of the other items. Is yours overpriced?

Try a small selling price but jacking the shipping price up to equal the desired amount. Sometimes, and i mean sometimes, people will overlook the shipping charge.

What about photos - make sure the item has clear photos. Theres nothing more disturbing that trying to see an item that is not clearly visible.

Best of luck from a sometimes ebay seller

Depends on what you sell. People are shopping now for Christmas gifts, and not spending as much on themselves, so if you sell used items, that might be a reason for your slowdown in sales. Collectors buy year-round though, so antiques and collectibles should continue to do well.

Do you have a reserve price on your auctions? Many buyers tend to shy away from listings with reserve, as do they with listings that have high shipping and handling charges or unreasonable terms of sale.

Ask him to grant you a rationalization why you ought to refund "his mom's" telephone whilst he by no ability ought to have offered it in the 1st place 3. If no tale or a horribly made up tale tell him to describe why the telephone organization would not activate it via stolen products 4. flow back to the police branch which you gave the telephone into and get like a police document style of element that has evidence which you gave it to them. test and digital mail him a replica so he can see it for himself 5. something that no one else sells in bulk (ie those who are already established) and those that bidders want.

so dont sell:
1) electronics (including video cameras, dvd players)
2) computers (including peripherals like video cards, cd/dvd drives, monitors)
3) cell phone accessories
4) computers
5) game consoles
6) video games
7) brand name items (purses, designer jeans)
8) sunglasses (name brand)
9) car parts (accessories, etc)

feedback is very important, congrats on your perfect score!

it's all about supply and demand. Examine what it is that people are bidding on and what they are willing to pay. It's easier to become an 'expert' on a few things. Good luck!

anything can sell with a good presentation. Are you showing good photos? Adding good keywords and descriptions?

Electronics, toys, clothes, etc all sell well. What have you tried selling?
