happens to me alot tio me and then im wondering what it was for the rest of the day and it drives me crazy!

Winter. Cold, dry, winter smell. So clean and fresh that it bites your nose and makes your eyes water. It's when the wind blows winter that I think of the boy I loved. I loved him with such a passion that I would go for late night walks in the cold, winter air, thin from altitude and chill, and stare up at the stars and wonder why I wasn't with him. For me, winter is the smell not of snow, not of Christmas, not even of rain, but of love so sweet and pure that the fact that it went unrequited only makes it that much more bittersweet.

Yes. As I was waiting to play in a baseball game I smelled my ex-girlfriends perfume, I went looking for her, but she was not there.

When I smell a perfum from Avon, like Candid... It reminds me of my grandma that past away years ago.

Yes, you are right. It is usually a scent that reminds me of something. Sometimes, when someone says a "saying" that my Mom or my grandmother use to say, then, it will remind me of that, too.

i smelled some moth balls the other day and it reminded me of Grandma and Grandpa's house for some reason. weird eh?
but yes, every now and then I ill smell something and it will remind me of a past time.

All the time!My sense of smell is so strong and I always remember things by smell....from my childhood till now..Smells always remind me of people or circumstances and its the one thing I never forget!Great question by the way.....

yeah! its weird how smells can take you back to a certain time and place! Ill be driving my car and smell something and it will take be back to a time when my dad was cooking dinner and i was like three sitting on the table watching him.....totally irrelevant....but weird!
