and mTV actually playing videos.
and neon socks... and the fact that you could wear one of each color and it was perfectly okay. and the fact that you could wear two pairs of two different colors and it was even MORE okay.

Just a word of advice - probably one I should take myself - but this question has been asked before - so what - you do what you want !
Anyway I agree with you - l liked the transam car if that's what you mean - wasn't it in one of these american tv shows or something. There used to be a big market around the 80's buying them in the States and selling them here in the UK.

I miss how music and videos were not "segregated". You could sit for an hour and see Van Halen, Rick James, Duran Duran, and Juice Newton.
Even if you didn't like it all, it was a good variety. Come to think of it...

I loved the 80's.I was very young then but I appreciate a lot from that "era"...like the music,the simplicity of the people,the movies,the dancing......
