HP 832 c printer only will not print black?

Printer worked before printing in black on command. Used two different cartidges, both with ink. Software is set to print black but red only comes out. Using XP. No changes to system that I am aware of.

Could be a software glitch.

Uninstall your printer drivers, disconnect the printer from your PC, and reboot the PC. This will "remove the printer from being recognized as installed.

Reinstall your drivers, reconnect your printer, and reboot the PC.

The PC should now recognize your printer correctly.

Try printing and see how it goes.
