Family Life is way more important. Think about it, why would you want to go out into society with those people if they have no kind of family life? That would be like attending one of Paris Hilton's parties. Family life is much more important. Thank you.

This would be very individualized based on the personality of the person asking the question, the family of the person and also the social circle.

Some people prefer to be solitary and are uncomfortable in social situations. Others, due to circumstances, don't have family. There are people who put family above everything else in their life. There are other people who put their friends first. There are even people who put neither one first.

For me, personally, I need a balance of both. I love my family but I also cherish my friends. The most difficult adjustment I experienced when I got married was learning how to balance my family and friends. I married a man who loved me so much that he wanted me home with him all the time. I also have friends that were accustomed to me being available to them whenever they needed me. I loved and needed both. I still do. I have certain time set aside for my friends each week and I also have time set aside for my husband.

Nothing is important in the scheme of things. Our time is brief. But my feelings are Children are the most important. Taking care of our kids is the important thing. Lets be honest, most of us have family that we cant stand. While I think it is important to care for family don't get carried away. Its all about the babies man.

I feel you have to have a balance. Your family is MOST important. I decided to become an at home mom. At 1st it was great, Then one day I woke up and realized that speaking to adults was a rare thing for me. I started hangin on the net, looking for people to talk to. I became a little depressed. The moral of the story is, you need both to feel complete.
