Well, they test some things, but I think there are many forms of intelligence, and they can't be measured by tests.

Actually your IQ test doesn't really tell you how smart you are, and IQ test your ability to learn not what you know. When someone has a high IQ it just means they learn things easier than one with a smaller IQ. You could do and IQ test at 6, 16, and 56 and it would still be the same. no matter what you know. I know this because they use this kind of testing when they are diagnosing an ADHD child. When they know the child's IQ they can properly (well as far as they are Concerned at least) see if the child is struggling in school because they cant focus or because they just cant Understand the question. If their IQ suggest they are able to learn it fast and just cant seem to pick it up then it leads them to think there is a problem. I don't know how accurate this is, and there are other ways to test for ADHD but i know this was what was explained to me by the Physiologist giving my daughter the test

I think an IQ test can tell how book smart a person is but nothing can tell how smart a person is because some of the smart people I know have little to no education and some of the most educated people I know, know nothing about life.

I dont think so, I have taken several and gotten a different result every time, and not just 1 or 2 points difference, like 20.
Also since the average American IQ is between 100 and 115, I kinda doubt that I'd be in the top 8%... i can't even do simple math without a calculator

Nope. I think that all the tests do the same thing, which is make us look stupid. Take for instance ACT or SAT. They take the material that you learned ever since you started school and test you on it. To me it's more of a memory test. Einstein took the IQ test and failed it, and yet he is still considered a genius.

No. I think you can be very smart even if you don't do good on a IQ test. You can be smart about somethings that have nothing to do with math, ect. And still be smart.
