do i need to pay to play online for socom 1?

it wont conect and i have no freakin clue what to do

nope just put ur fone cord into ur ps2 or ethernet cord and it shud work. if u have dial up make sure u are not on the fone or the net while trying to hook it up if u have highspeed make sure u have the ethernet plugged into a router it shud work.
